So I began to write a post, oh three or four days ago in regards to my current distaste with all that has become Smallville [& why Supernatural is the cats meowww], but chose to address something much more [in my opinion] important:
I was laid off from Griffith douchebag Energy Services, Inc. on Wednesday, February 13th, 2008 [around 12:30 in the afternoon, to be exact].
My thoughts?

By this point you must think I am “out of my mind” or even a “crazy, delusional woman” right? Nah, not in the least, and I would “take it to the bank” if you ever petitioned me to do so.
It’s been the most liberating and freeing sensation this world has ever offered me to date, and spending 24 years searching for a break kinda tires one every now and again. So yes, I am officially unemployed, but I am also thoroughly satisfied with the complete 180 my life has taken on. Do I wake in the early morning hours still? Yes. Does it bother me? No. “Why Jackie?” “Because finally I get to enjoy the beautiful patterns of every day life, either normal or flipped on its head, and that my friends, is what it should be about.”
{Side note: I got a decent severance package, so the $$ is still awesome, and I do nothing to earn it. Wow.}
So “GE” [is not life] is out, and happiness is in; damn good times, if you ask me. Is it scary to be without an employer? Of course it is. I wouldn’t be human if I wasn’t nervous about the uncharted waters that most certainly lay ahead of me now. However, I am ready for whatever the high tides wash my way, and truthfully, I wish they laid me off ….years ago. I’d have never wasted a single moment worrying about what “they thought of me” or “if my work was ever good enough,” because I know my duties were completed and then some.
So, in closing I would like to send a heartfelt FU to the fuel industry, especially to all you thieves and schemers in the oil business [you know who you are]. I’ve had my fun, I’ve earned my “vacation,” and lastly, I’ve surpassed the ass kissing bastards who still “answer to the man.”
Goodbye, and good riddance,
Love, Jackie.

Hahahaha! Fuck that dog! It’s a popular misconception that he’s carrying around water or whiskey in the barrel around his neck to save people trapped in avalanches… He’s actually carrying around the souls of all that he’s raped and plundered. Not pretty.
Either way. I’m glad to hear you’re so happy and I love you lots. Fight the power! Damn the man!
